IT Administrator
IT Administrator
My first position after training led me to DAS Environmental Expert GmbH, where I started my professional IT career as an IT Administrator. In this position, I was able to put the knowledge acquired during my training into practice and gain important experience in an international corporate environment.
As an IT Administrator, I was responsible for coordinating and supporting the entire IT landscape of the company. This position offered me the unique opportunity to develop a holistic view of IT infrastructures and to become familiar with all aspects of system administration: from strategic planning to daily operational support.
A central component of my work was multi-level IT support for international employees. As a contact person for 1st-, 2nd-, and 3rd-level support, I developed a deep understanding of the different complexity levels of IT problems and learned to establish efficient escalation processes. This experience sharpened my problem-solving competence and my ability to act calmly and solution-oriented even under pressure.
The administration of client and server infrastructures based on Microsoft technologies formed the technical foundation of my work. I was responsible for the maintenance, optimization, and further development of these systems and was able to gain valuable practical experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and other Microsoft technologies.
These first professional years were formative for my further career and laid the foundation for my later specializations. Here I learned not only the technical aspects of IT administration but also the importance of service orientation, structured documentation, and proactive communication.
